Privacy Policy

Tucked has no backend of its own. There is no account, no analytics and no server we could store your work on. Everything below is a description of what the app actually does, not a promise layered on top of it.

Your photos

Photos you take stay on your device. They are used to work out the outline of the object in front of the camera, and all of that work happens on your iPhone using Apple's on-device frameworks. A photo is never uploaded, and it is never saved into your tray history either — once the outline has been worked out, the photo is no longer needed.

Your trays

A saved tray holds the recognised outline, the dimensions you chose, and the date. These are stored on your device. Exported STL files are written where you choose to put them.

iCloud sync

So your trays and credits follow you to a new device, Tucked mirrors them through your own iCloud account, using Apple's key-value storage. What syncs is the tray history — outlines, dimensions, names and dates — and your credit balance. Photos and exported files do not sync.

This data sits in your personal iCloud, under your Apple Account, governed by Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it and no way to read it. You can turn sync off at any time in the app's Settings, and the app keeps working entirely offline with it off.

No account

Tucked does not ask you to sign up or log in, and does not collect your name, email address or any other personal detail. There is nothing to sign in to.

Purchases

Credit packs are sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and holds your payment details; we never see them.

Purchases are managed with RevenueCat, a third-party service that keeps track of what you have bought so your credits restore correctly on a new device. RevenueCat receives purchase events and an anonymous identifier generated for the app — not your name, not your email, and not your payment details.

Analytics and tracking

There are none. Tucked contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind, and it does not share data with anyone for advertising or measurement.

Children

Tucked is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the photos, tray history and settings held on that device. To remove the synced copy as well, turn off iCloud sync in the app before deleting it, or remove Tucked's data from iCloud in your device's iCloud settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the version inside the app is updated to match.
